A Moment with Msgr. Woy Feast of The Epiphany 1/2/22

Dear Friends,

Happy New Year!  On this Feast of the Epiphany, when we celebrate God’s Son shining on our world, we pray for a brighter 2022. Although we have turned the page to a new calendar year, the COVID pandemic continues to impact our lives and has certainly raised the anxiety levels of many of us. I encourage everyone to wear a mask when attending Mass and other indoor parish activities. Masks and hand sanitizer are available in the narthex. Let us all do our part to help everyone stay healthy and to get this pandemic in the rearview mirror.

I want to thank everyone who helped make the celebration of Christmas possible: musicians, decorators, liturgical ministers, parish staff, members of the liturgy committee, and those who directed traffic at SFDS. If I began to list names, the list would be long, and I would forget someone. To everyone who had a hand in making Christmas possible, THANK YOU!

In case you were wondering, Ash Wednesday is late this year – March 2nd is the date, and Easter is April 17th. Come on, springtime!

Have a good week!

Msgr. Woy
