Dear Friends:

Alleluia! Alleluia! He is risen alleluia, alleluia! Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. A simple man who embraced his father’s request to serve   humans by giving his life so that all may live forever. Jesus lived as any ordinary person of his time. Although he was God and man at the same time and could have made his life a breeze, he didn’t do that. He was born in a stable with animals in attendance. He died the death of a criminal with only his mother and beloved disciple at his side. Everyone else had disappeared and were hiding for fear that the they might be crucified too. When he was close to death hanging on the instrument of torture, the cross, he said “Father forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.”

Today Jesus opened the gates of paradise so that anyone who wishes to enter, and is willing to live as Jesus instructed them, can be with him for eternity. If we think about Jesus’ life, we begin to realize that he gave everything he had for us!

Today is Easter Sunday. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if each one of us gave something of ourselves today? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if each one of us decided to change our lives for the better and perhaps help others to do the same on this holy day? I hope that somehow in some small or large way each of us will do just that. Jesus is here to help us; we only need to make the commitment. He will help us to live it out!

Peace and All Good!
