REFLECTION
Thirtieth Sunday In Ordinary Time
October 26-27, 2019
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I am stubborn and hard-hearted…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I feel sorry for myself instead of counting my blessings…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I say unkind things about others…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I speak Your name in a disrespectful manner…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I overindulge in food or drink…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I fail to see you in the eyes of the poor…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I lose my temper…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I refuse to venture outside my comfort zone in order to reach out to someone in need…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I don’t set aside time for prayer…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
When I put my own wants and needs before those of others…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
At the hour of my death…
“O God, be merciful to me, a sinner.”
