Family Faith Formation

Our combined efforts to transmit the Catholic faith is called “faith formation,” also known as “catechesis,” which comes from the Greek word meaning “to echo.” According to Pope St. John Paul II, we are echoing “the mystery of Christ,” and our goal in faith development is to encourage everyone to consider Jesus from all angles and in all of His aspects. The true goal of faith formation, he explained, is to “lead people into communion and intimacy with Jesus, who alone can lead us to the love of the Father in the Spirit and make us share in the life of the Trinity.” Today, we are all striving to get a better understanding of “the mystery of Christ” and how to develop a closer relationship with the Father. Build upon the rock by enrolling your child in our Faith Formation class.
