Final Francis Facts

As we celebrate St. Francis de Sales Jubilee I would like to end this year of Francis Facts and share some of St Francis’s more profound quotes:

“Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset.”  

“Retire at various times into the solitude of your own heart, even while outwardly engaged in discussions or transactions with others, and talk to God.”

“Do not wish to be anything but what you are, and try to be that perfectly.” Saint Francis de Sales

In the quietness of the New Year, as we begin our countdown to the parish’s NEXT jubilee and in the advent of a new Presidency may we all seek the inner peace which St Francis speaks of, talk to God, and to be ourselves and do that  perfectly.  May our faith community grow in love and service because
